Practice Areas
We started our activity on June 12, 1995. From the beginning, we assisted both national and international companies in commercial and business law matters.
We worked on cases related to debt collection throughout Italy, concluding employment contracts, properties sale/purchase contracts and tender for contracts in public works and services.
From the start, we have assisted foreign companies trading with Italy, especially in the field of international road transport regulated by the 1956 CMR-Geneva Convention.
We have covered every single aspect: international transport contracts, breaches of contracts both on carrier and contractor side, fines, seizures of goods or administrative detention of vehicles and also compensation for damage of the goods carried.
We work directly at the courts of the region of Lombardy and we rely on a solid network of professionals throughout Italy, so as to cover cases at all courts located in Italy, at all stages of proceedings, which means both in front of Justice of the Peace, and Courts, but also in front of Courts of Appeal and Court of Cassation in Roma. Furthermore, we can rely on a solid network of professionals located in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Brussels who can cover all cases involving Italian companies and third parties located in these countries.
We also assist our clients throughout all out-of-court processes, offering mediation services thanks to the long-term experience in this field brought in by Atty. Patrizia Turati. For years, she has been working, nationally and internationally, as conciliator and mediator in the field of civil and commercial law for: The Chamber of Commerce of the City of Como, the Bar Association of the city of Como and the National Confederation of SMEs and craft sector.
We also offer assistance in criminal cases both to the injured party and the defendant. Our firm specialised in criminal proceedings relating to offences regulated by art. 517 of the penal code ‘selling of fake industrial products’ and by Law n.350 24/12/2003, art. 4, par. 49. We also actively work for proceedings relating to the manufacturing and selling of products labelled as ‘Italy’ or ‘Made in Italy’.
For years, we have been working for Italian textile manufacturers active both in Italy and abroad, exporting worldwide. We are specialised in Fashion Law, particularly focusing on EU’s measures aimed at monitoring anti-dumping, labelling of imported goods, fighting fraud and counterfeiting, protecting intellectual property, promoting our Made in Italy and all R&D investments. We work with national and international law that directly governs the textile industry, throughout all its manufacturing steps: from the thread until the final product, including its placing on the market, all marketing aspects and royalties and ‘Italian sounding’ matters.
We also consult on family law cases, with special attention to the rights of minors during separations and divorces, in order to consider both the psychological and legal aspects involved. We collaborate on psychiatric and psychological reports on minors and work on evaluating the parenting skills.
Atty. Patrizia Turati has been further developing her qualifications and participating to institutional courses covering gender-based violence, in particular topics such as physical, psychological and economic violence on women and vulnerable groups. Thanks to her ongoing professional training and professional ethics, Atty. Patrizia Turati is a strong partner who constantly protects our clients’ interests.
