Georgian Pinchbeck Chain Bracelet and PadlockA fine pinchbeck Georgian chain bracelet with a pinchbeck puffy heart padlock clasp. The chain is circa 1820 and is covered in floral embossed work. It measures 19. 5cm and when used with the padlock it will fit a wrist up to 22cm comfortably. The chain weighs 26. 5 grams and the padlock weighs 12. 8g. The padlock is 4. 6cm in length and set with a blue stone resembling turquoise. Pinchbeck is an alloy of copper and zinc invented in the 18th century
